PINOLERE TRAIL

The Pinolere Trail mountain race was born in 2014 in the municipality of La Orotava, with the aim of offering trail running lovers an attractive, varied and balanced route among farmhouses, green lands and pine forests. Organized by the Orotava Athletic Club (Clator) and the Villa de La Orotava Town Council, Pinolere Trail is a mountain race that runs on trails and tracks of the La Orotava mountains, and it offers runners an attractive and technical route with slopes. It has two distances: 27 and 11 km. Last year, it was considered as Canary Islands Trail Championship (27 km) and Canary Islands Mountain Race Championship (11 km) by the Canary Islands Athletics Federation. The Pinolere Trail Race was born with the intention of promoting sports activities in nature, generating socio-economic movement in rural areas and spreading the natural, landscape and cultural values ​​of the area.
