41 Casa Llarena
This building occupies part of the site remaining after the fire of the Palacio del Marques de Celada in 1716. The former building occupied what are now the adjacent Plaza de Casañas and the site of this property, built for the Llarena family. The architectural plan follows the aesthetics of romantic classicism masterfully developed by Manuel de Oraá. The building has three façades, most notably that which faces the street, with its regular symmetry and interesting stonework both in the masonry mouldings and cornicing. It commands superb views over the Valley of La Orotava thanks to its location at the top of a steep incline.
